Military Activation Support
Students who receive military activation orders may have several options available to support their academic progress and protect their enrollment status. CMAS is here to assist students who are called to active duty, mobilized, or deployed during the semester.
Depending on the situation, students may choose to:
- Withdraw from courses due to military service
- Receive tuition and fee refund
- Request an incomplete grade in eligible courses
- Work with instructors to complete coursework when possible
Students withdrawing due to military service may also qualify for deferred enrollment through One Stop Enrollment Services, allowing them to return to UT San Antonio without reapplying if they have not attended another institution long enough to receive grades.
CMAS can assist with coordinating documentation, communicating with faculty and departments and helping students understand how military activation may impact their benefits, enrollment and academic progress.
If you receive activation orders, please contact CMAS as soon as possible at [email protected]. When reaching out, please include your full name, student ID, a copy of your activation orders, your activation timeline and any immediate concerns or questions you may have.
Once your request is received, our team will review your information and follow up within 3–5 business days with next steps, guidance and available support options.

CMAS is not accepting applications currently. We will begin accepting applications in Summer 2026 for the Fall 2026 term. Applications will be available through handshake.
